Overview

REModel AI ("we", "us", or "our") is a commercial real estate underwriting tool. We take your privacy seriously. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and how we protect it.

What Data We Collect

• Account information — your email address, display name, and company name when you sign up.
• Deal documents — offering memos, rent rolls, leases, and other files you upload for AI extraction.
• Project data — property details, assumptions, cash flow models, and scenarios you create.
• Usage data — which features you use and how you interact with the app, to help us improve the product.

How We Use Your Data

• To provide the service — your documents are processed by AI models (Anthropic Claude, Google Gemini) to extract deal data. Documents are processed in memory and are not stored on our servers' file systems.
• To save your work — project data is stored in our database so you can return to it later.
• To enable collaboration — if you share a project with your team, team members can access that project's data based on the role you assign them.
• To improve the product — we analyze usage patterns (not deal content) to make REModel AI better.

Who Can See Your Data

Your data is private by default. We enforce strict data isolation:

• Row-Level Security (RLS) ensures you can only access your own projects and data.
• Team members can see only the specific projects you share with them, with the permissions you set.
• We do not sell, share, or provide your deal data to any third parties.
• AI processing providers (Anthropic, Google) process your documents per their respective data policies but do not retain your data for training purposes when accessed via API.

Data Storage & Security

• All data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and at rest (AES-256).
• Data is stored on Supabase (PostgreSQL) with enterprise-grade security.
• Uploaded documents are processed in memory during extraction and stored in encrypted cloud storage.
• All API keys and secrets are stored as environment variables, never in source code.
• Passwords are hashed using bcrypt — we never store plaintext passwords.

Data Retention & Deletion

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You can delete individual projects at any time from your dashboard. If you wish to delete your entire account and all associated data, please contact us at support@re-model.ai.

Cookies

We use essential cookies and local storage for authentication (keeping you signed in) and remembering your preferences. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. If you are a California resident (CCPA) or European resident (GDPR), you have additional rights including data portability and the right to opt out of data processing. Contact us at support@re-model.ai to exercise any of these rights.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or through the app.
